December Announcements

Holiday Office Hours

In observance of Christmas and New Years the office will be closed Monday, December 23rd – January 1st and will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd.

 

Watch Night Service

We will have Watch Night Service on Tuesday, December 31st @ 7pm. We will worship together with Greater Second MB Church and Rock Island Baptist Church.

 

Leadership Meeting

We will have a leadership meeting on Tuesday, January 7th @ 6:30pm. All leaders are asked to please be in attendance.

 

Members Meeting

We will have a membership meeting on Sunday, January 12th after 10am service. All members are asked to please be in attendance.

 

Toastmasters and YLP

The Youth Leadership Program/Toastmasters will start on January 12, 2025 – March 2, 2025, on Sundays @ 12:30pm. This is Eight weekly sessions conducted as   meetings for participants aged 13 and up who would like to learn how to conduct meetings, prepare, organize, and present speeches, evaluate and achieve effective listening skills, speak on a topic without prior planning, control their voice, vocabulary, and gestures and give constructive feedback. Applications can be picked up from the church office or downloaded from our website.
